"Exemplary accommodation. Definitely recommended." - Jul 18, 2006 Dublin, Ireland
Upon arriving at Corrib Village, I was delighted to see that the dorms were easily found, with signposts directing the way. I was also able to remember which dorm was mine, with distinguishable colours having been applied to each one. The interior of the dorms were exquisite and very clean. The numerous cupboards and wardrobes were very useful for storing items away. One thing about the rooms was the bedroom doors. They each required a key-card, so if you closed the door, then you would not be able to get back in without having to unlock it. Although, I know this is required for College use. The grounds and facilities were very good as well, with a stocked Shop, a Dining area, and Pool room with an amazing range of music available on the coin-op jukebox and various other social rooms. the actual city of Galway is incredible. The buildings are beautiful and there are various social areas of traditional and Modern design. There are numerous restaurants and a wide selection of food. Ayre square is a great area to just sit down and relax and perhaps view the large Cinema-esque screen or have a small picnic. Beside the estuary and harbour, there is a vary large green area for playing Football and other sports. not to far away, there is Silverstrand beach, which serves as a delightful area to tan and swim.

Overall, it is excellent accommodation in a beautiful city. What more could you ask for?

"What an Excellent Place to Stay" - Jul 2, 2005 Chicago, Illinois
I have returned to Corrib Village for many years. It is by far the best accommodation available in Galway for the price. It is an ideal place to bring a family offering self-catering apartments on a secure site with excellent facilities. The rooms are very well kept and housekeeping are extremely efficient and friendly. The site is ideal for those driving to Galway as the city is within walking distance and parking is FREE! I would not hesitate to recommend this site to anyone visiting Galway.

"Perfect Budget Accommodation" - Apr 28, 2005 Co. Meath, Ireland
This is a great complex! I went down with a group of my friends for a week away in Galway. The prices are very reasonable compared to other summer accommodation in Galway. The place is huge with loads of facilities; tennis courts, a shop, restaurant and a playground. The apartments were perfect for all of us. They were basic but had everything you need; kitchen utensils, tv ect. I have read some previous reviews about the cleanliness of the place, I found them to be spotless and in great condition. One of the biggest bonuses of Corrib Village is the free bus that runs to the city centre. This was great as it is only a 5-10 min bus ride away. I really loved Corrib Village and we have just booked a week in August this summer.

"wonderful!!" - Aug 18, 2003 tornoto, ontario
Corrib village was wonderful, my family recently had a family reunion there. The flats were just what we needed; they fit a whole family, and an occasional visitor. There were many other families around, so plenty of kids to play with all the cousins. bringing things like rollerblades and tennis rackets also made the trip better. over all it is a perfect spot for a family, and much cheaper than most hotels, its a great value.

A night in heaven - the best value accommodation I have experienced! Double bed (a rare luxury!), TV, buffet breakfast and ensuite made it a very comfortable experience. It is located on uni so there is always an opportunity to meet some local uni students!

It is located too far out of the town to walk to, but getting taxi's are easy once you call for one. It should cost around €7. Rooms are great & clean too. Overall suits students/budget seekers perfectly.

This is an excellent value accommodation service suited to young people, families and older people. I got my own room for 20 euro, and each complex has a small number of bedrooms 3-5, self-contained kitchenette and sitting room with television. The village is situated about 2 miles out from town but a shuttle bus is operation on the hour until 7.30pm bringing people in and out from the village. There is full laundry facilities, games room, snooker among other facilities. The shower and bathroom facilities are excellent, at last a low cost accommodation service which offers both shower and bath facilities, with free towels and shower gel. Breakfast is another added bonus, continental breakfast with cereals, toast, scones, juices, fruit and tea and coffee all included in the price. What better value for 20 euro per nite. Taxis serve Galway city very well and the average price for taxis to the village is 7-9euro. Excellent value, excellent service, and fairly close to the city centre. Unfortunately, this is a summer only service as it provides student accommodation for the nearby university. But I will be back there as soon as it re-opens next June. The other drawback is check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am. I think if Corrib Village changed this policy it would really benefit the service user.
